Stephon Heyer was born in January 16, 1984 to Ronald and Glenda Heyer. His parents never in their wildest imagination pictured him becoming a star in the NFL. Stephon was born in a little town in Georgia called Lawrenceville but as his mother was raising him, she realized that his could become a name to remember in football. Stephon easily achieved a height of 6”6 and his body was well built. These are the qualities that football players dream of especially at the tender age that Steve Heyer was.
Joining football in high school
Steve Heyer went to Brookwood high school and he was quickly attracted to the high school football team. This is evidently one of the best decisions he made in his lifetime. His mother hired a personal trainer to help him to achieve peak physical fitness as well as gain important skills, which he could need if he was to become a successful athlete.

- Stephon was an early beginner in football and this gave him the foundation that he needed to become a football star.
- Stephon has played many games and this makes him a very experienced player in the field. With the experience he has amassed, he is only left with the primary task of perfecting what he already knows.
Life in college
Stephon was invited to many teams due to the football skills that were evident when he was in high school. He was invited by teams such as Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan just to mention a few. Stephon eventually went to Maryland to pursue further studies. Stephon Heyer played in exactly 50 games during his time in college. He accumulated very few penalties and by his third year in college, he was the top performer of the season. Stephon worked hard in his studies and he completed in 2006 with a degree in criminology and criminal studies.
In 2007, Stephon played in the Hula Bowl for the Aina team. His performance was very impressive and he joined the Redskins in the same year. He played for four years until 2011. In August 2011, he got invited to join the Oakland Raiders and did so. He plays offensive tackle for the Raiders.
